Title
Monday 04/16/12
Brief
Smoke from agricultural burning in Mexico and Central America with "Moderate" fine particulate levels is continuing in the Brownsville-McAllen area of far South Texas but levels should gradually diminish later today. Winds may be light enough and afternoon temperatures warm enough for ozone to reach "Moderate" levels in the El Paso area with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
