Title
Saturday 06/09/12 Outlook
Brief
Light winds and high incoming background levels could help ozone to reach "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups" on the northwest side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and "Moderate" or possibly higher levels on the northwest side of the Austin and San Antonio areas and in the Waco-Killeen area, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. If there is enough afternoon sunshine, ozone could reach "Moderate" levels on the west and southwest side of the Houston area, in parts of Northeast Texas, and in the Beaumont-Port Arthur area, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
