Title

Friday 06/29/12

Brief

Winds may be light enough and incoming background levels high enough for ozone levels to reach "Moderate" or possibly higher in the El Paso area and "Moderate" on the north and northwest side of the Houston area and on the north side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with highest concentrations in the afternoon and early evening. Lingering elevated background levels with "Moderate" fine particulate may continue in East Texas, including the Houston, Beaumont-Port Arthur, and Tyler-Longview areas. Elsewhere in the state, moderate winds and lower incoming background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range.
